Hi, I'm Mrs. Metz, your child's 1st grade virtual teacher!

I have a master’s degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education. I have been teaching for 24 years. Years prior to coming to PPS, were spent teaching in a private school. I have been teaching at PPS for 21 years. I taught first grade for 17 years. However, the past four years I have had the joy of teaching technology! This year I will be teaching 1st grade students virtually.

I currently live in Millbrook. Anthony and I have 2 wonderful children and 3 amazing granddaughters! I am fortunate that my children and their families live nearby, so we to spend a lot of time together!

We will be using SeeSaw during this virtual learning process. It is new to all of us and we with get through this together.
