Mrs. Debbie T. Langham
Pre-K Lead Teacher
Drop off and Pick Up Procedures
Arrival & Dismissal Location: PPS Bus Loop (off Wetumpka St.)
Arrival time is 7:40-8:00.
- Please arrive no earlier than 7:40. Buses are scheduled to drop off before Pre-K. If you arrive early and block them, you will be asked to circle around so buses can get through. If you arrive late, drive to the main building and check in through the front office. Stay with your child until a teacher arrives to walk them to the classroom.
- Students are allowed to exit cars and walk down the sidewalk after the 7:40 bell rings, when complete supervision is in place.
- You are responsible for helping your child in and out of your car at arrival and dismissal. Teachers will assist students in walking to their classroom in the morning and their car in the afternoon.
- Have your car rider tag visible every day, hanging from your rear-view mirror, so that we can see your child's name. If you do not have your car rider tag, you will be asked to show ID.
Dismissal time is 2:30.
- You may begin lining up in the bus loop area at 2:15.
FYI:
- Please send a refillable water bottle to school each day already filled with water.
- All money sent to school with your child should be labeled in an envelope or baggie with your child's name. Please indicate what the money is for.
- If your child is absent or tardy, send an excuse noting the date and reason for the absence or lateness so it can be marked as excused.
Things needed for school:
- tote bag
- refillable water bottle
- small blanket or towel for rest time
- send a snack each day
- send lunch if not buying lunch at school
- send a complete set of extra clothes in a labeled ziplock baggie to be kept at school in case of accidents
*Please label everything. A binder will be given to your child for back and forth communication.
