First Grade 

Hello!  My name is Kristie Glidden.  I  am a 1995 graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and an emphasis in Reading Instruction.  I have taught Preschool, 1st grade, and 2nd grade.  I am so happy to be teaching 1st grade at PPS!

My husband Aaron and I have 4 children-Grace (2nd year UAB medical student), Aaron(Senior at University of Alabama), Hannah(Junior at PHS), and Jacob(Freshman at PHS).  We love our 2 Goldendoodles-Dusty and Daisy .  We enjoy hanging out as a family at the beach or poolside.  Our football and corn hole tournaments get a little competitive!

Other than teaching I enjoy Aggie football, reading LOTS of books, and being outside.
