Susan Shoupe
First Grade Teacher
BIO:
My name is Susan Shoupe. I have been married to my amazing husband, Dale, for 44 years. We have four incredible children (three sons and a daughter), a wonderful son-in-law, three lovely daughters-in-law, and five beautiful grandchildren. I love being with my family, traveling with my husband, and teaching children to fall in love with learning. "My goal everyday is to instill a love of learning in my students and to encourage them to believe in themselves and to be active participants in our learning community. Watching my students learn motivates me to: work harder, learn more, and reflect more deeply. They inspire me to be a better teacher tomorrow than I am today. The children are the center of our learning community and learning along with them keeps me excited and enthusiastic everyday as I watch them grow through interaction and the experiences we share each day."
